Hey Upper East Siders,
I have a big news to share!I am going to New York for the first time.No words can describe how excited I am.I have been planing this trip over a year with my cousins. They both been to NY already so it is huge advantage for me that they can show me around. We have chosen to travel in November.Month of Fashion week.Even more exciting!!Yaaay!
We have all agreed on location where we want to stay!As near to Time Square as possible!Millennium Broadway Hotel Times Square was the perfect choice.Nice four star hotel.Located only few minutes away from the famous 5th Avenue.I mean shopping in London is considerd as one of the best but who can resist to Fifth Avenue?I certainly can’t.
Apart from shopping at Bloomingdales,Macy’s,Saks Fift Avenue and other huge stores I also wanted to see other popular places.City was already decorated all in Christmas spirit. While walking in Central park I’ve seen many people on ice ring. How awesome, you can ice skate already end of November.
I absolutely love observatories.Althought I am scared of hights I don’t mind coming all the way up just for the spectacular view of the city.I could not wait to see world famous Empire State Building. This 102 story Art deco skyscraper in Midtown Manhattan.I went in the morning so I could enjoy NYC in all it’s beauty. This place it’s worth the price!
While visiting World Trade Center where you can see 9/11 memorial I went to another tower called One World observatory.I have decided to go in the evening.Huge mistake! The place is not open as ESB.Glass is all over.View was absolutely lovely it was nice to see glittering NY city in the evening but when it came to taking pictures all I could see was glass reflection. On the way back we have stopped for dinner and drinks at Meatpacking district. The place is filled with trendy restaurants and clubs.
The highlight of the trip was Brooklyn Bridge.First stop was glorious Wall street and from there we have walked all the way to the bridge. This place is really busy. You can even take heli ride and see panoramic views of the city with an iconic skyline.
